Helpful Tips for buying a home!

When I was first searching for a home, I had a hard time finding an agent who really was willing to guide me through the home buying process.

I read a lot of articles, watched tv programs, asked friends and found a lender who was willing to give me good advice.  I think that's ONE of the reasons I became an agent and am excited about helping people buy their first homes.

This short video from HGTV's the Property Brothers has a few tips that I think are important.

Assuming we are in a healthy, upward moving real estate market.  (And the market sure is healthy now)  Homes go up in value.  The sooner you are able to make a good buy, the sooner you will start building equity, meaning your house becomes "money in the bank" as the value goes up AND you pay down the balance.

Additionally, it is smart to re-invest the income tax savings, and one of the places you can do this, is directly against your mortgage.

Even though there are programs with little or no money down.  Try to save and put a little extra down on your home.  Every little bit helps you to be in a stronger position financially.

Our preferred lender is JOONAGO MORTGAGE.  Joe Huljak is an experienced lender who has helped hundreds of first time homebuyers.

He really knows how to maximize the income you have to get you the most house, with the most investment potential.

Give JOE a call today.... tell him CARLY sent you!!  :)
